Last week, Korellis proudly participated in Roofing Day in D.C., an annual event organized by the National Roofing Contractors Association to unite roofing professionals in advocating for industry priorities on Capitol Hill.

Representing Korellis were our Vice President of Operations, Matt Evans, and Director of Operations, Ronnie Strain.
Two top issues on the Hill this year: addressing workforce shortages and supporting pro-growth tax reform. A major focus was increased funding for Perkins CTE State Grants, which help grow the next generation of tradespeople through career and technical education.

Matt and Ronnie met with the staff of Senator Todd Young and Representative Victoria Spartz and even had a face-to-face with Congressman Frank J. Mrvan. All were gracious, engaged, and eager to learn how policy impacts businesses like Korellis.

Weโ€™re proud to raise our voice for the industry and the future of the skilled trades.
