Korellis recently wrapped up work at the Hobart Police Department, tackling emergency shoring, masonry reconstruction, roofing, and more. This project brought all four of our trades together to get the job done right.

A failing masonry wall needed immediate stabilization, so we installed emergency shoring before demolishing and rebuilding it. We then tore off and re-roofed two sections of the building, tying them into the new masonry wall. We also completed patching and skylight repairs to keep the building in great condition.

This former school had undergone multiple expansions, leading to unexpected discoveries, including a hidden window behind a wall. We worked with Martin Riley to ensure everything was handled properly. Given the government setting, we also navigated strict security protocols and secured city approval to close 4th Street for several weeks to accommodate our work.

A big shoutout to our foremen: Joel Johnson (roofing), Darrel VanCleef (masonry), J. Brian Whitaker (sheet metal), and Jon Oโ€™Dor (carpentry) for making this a smooth and successful project. Another great example of Korellis delivering full-service solutions to our customers!
