Korellis, US Gypsum roof load, Midwest Helicopter

Experience

Being in business since 1960 is only a small part of our overall experience. Korellis has installed millions of square feet of roofing systems. Under difficult conditions, often on projects with structural deck replacements, severe slopes, and poor logistics, work has been completed cost effectively and safely, while at the same time achieving some of the highest honors in the roofing industry.

We have worked at some of the largest steel mills in North America, as well as hundreds of churches, schools, government and office buildings, nuclear power plant and multi-million dollar casinos on Lake Michigan. We’ve completed roofs with a wide variety of shapes, sizes and slopes; used time-tested materials; and established safe environmental procedures during the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing roofing materials (ACRM).

But, Korellis’ real advantage comes from staying on the cutting edge of roofing technology. We keep on top of the new product research and select tested, state-of-the-art materials to add longer life and cost savings to your project.

Awards

Korellis is dedicated to being your source for quality workmanship utilizing proven materials. Firestone Building Products Company has honored Korellis with its 2019 Master Contractor Silver and Inner Circle of Quality Awards for Korellis’s commitment to commercial roofing excellence and superior installations. These awards are the commercial roofing industry’s most highly respected accomplishments.

This is the 27th year Korellis has achieved Master Contractor status and the 26th year for the Inner Circle of Quality Award. The Master Contractor designation is bestowed upon roofing professionals for consistent installation excellence and quality craftsmanship based on total square footage and inspection ratings. This award is presented only to those master contractors who have maintained at least two million square feet of Firestone roofs under warranty and achieved an annual Quality Incidence Rating (QIR) of 1.0 or less. The QIR measures the quality performance based on warranty repair incidences per million square feet under warranty.

Every year since 1992, Korellis has been honored by Firestone Building Products Company and now has the distinction of the most Inner Circle of Quality Awards in the Midwest.

Korellis has also been honored in 2016 with two awards for the work on the Chicago Public Library located in the Chinatown neighborhood of the city. The NRCA awarded Korellis with the prestigious Gold Circle Award in the “Outstanding Workmanship” category.

Sarnafil also highlighted the work done at the Chinatown library with the distinguished honor of Project of the Year. We earned third place in the “Waterproofing Category”. It is an honor to be recognized among dozens of other entries.
