Please join us in congratulating Derek Crews on his promotion to Director of Safety. Derek joined Team Korellis in January 2024 as our Project Safety Manager and has quickly made a positive impact. His commitment to keeping our team safe, ensuring everyone has the right equipment, and making safety a priority has been invaluable. His approachable nature and willingness to listen have earned him the respect of the entire team.

Before Korellis, Derek served over 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. His most recent assignment as Command in Michigan City focused on training, safety enforcement, and risk management.

What he has to say: “I am excited to lead a safety team focused on serving those in the field and prioritizing their safety.”

We are excited to see him continue making a difference in his new position. Congratulations, Derek! We’re so proud to have you on our team!
