Crown Point Career Fair
Last week, our team attended the Crown Point Career Fair and had the opportunity to talk with students about careers in construction.
We talked about roofing, sheet metal, masonry, carpentry, apprenticeship programs, and what a future in the trades can really look like. Many students were surprised to learn about the opportunities that exist and the different paths available to them after graduation.
That is why events like this matter. Not because students are expected to have their future figured out today, but because sometimes all it takes is one conversation to introduce a path they did not know existed.
