We want to take a moment to recognize Sheet Metal Foreman, Brook Middlebrook, who has been with Korellis for 20 years.
While working at Nassau Park, our sheet metal crew noticed the smell of smoke. At first, it seemed like it might be coming from the jobsite. As they looked around, they saw a woman and her children exiting a home across the street as smoke poured from the doorway.
Brook immediately ran over to help. With his background as a U.S. Army veteran and former volunteer firefighter, he knew what to do and was able to put out the fire quickly. The family was safe, and the homeowner was incredibly thankful.
This moment reflects the kind of people who make up our team. Calm under pressure, aware of their surroundings, and willing to step in when it matters.
