It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Ron Hunter, a respected member of our Board of Directors and the first independent board member in Korellis history.

Ron was a visionary leader whose strategic insight helped shape the path forward for our company. His strong commitment to sound governance and ethical leadership made a lasting impact on our employee-owned culture. As President Pete Korellis shared, “Ron brought invaluable perspective to Korellis. He will be deeply missed, and his absence will be profoundly felt.”

Outside of Korellis, Ron led a distinguished career in engineering, eventually serving as CEO and President of Superior Engineering Corp. He was deeply involved in his community, active in church leadership, local boards, youth sports, and Purdue Northwest. He was a lifelong learner, devoted family man, and passionate golfer who brought intention and care to everything he did.

Our thoughts are with the Hunter family. Ron’s legacy of leadership and service will remain a lasting part of Korellis.
