Project Feature: Ford Assembly Plant

A huge shoutout to #TeamKorellis for their outstanding work at the Ford Assembly Plant in Chicago, IL, during their annual shutdown.
In a remarkable feat, our team completed an entire roof replacement in just seven working days. Operating with two shifts daily and an average of 50 team members on-site, we overcame significant challenges, including a reduced shutdown window from two weeks to one and the limited space available with multiple trades working simultaneously.
Despite the added pressure of impending rain, which was forecasted for several days, we successfully navigated the weather and delivered exceptional results.
Our President, John Ziolkowski, summed it up perfectly: “This project took planning and teamwork to the next level to get this accomplished in such a short time period. I couldn’t be more proud of our entire team.”
“Korellis has been one of my favorite contractors to work with for almost a decade now. The commitment and dedication to your company core values regarding safety policies and procedures aligns with the message we here at Ford preach and expect each and every day. This past July outage your company was tasked with completing a nice portion of work during a 1-week time period. You guys presented a great plan to make sure this goal was achievable by working second shift even during the holiday. You not only completed the mission, you did so without compromising safety. That speaks volumes and should attest to the direction of your leadership team. Again, thank you all for being a huge part of our success here at Ford Motor Company Chicago Assembly Plant. Keep up the great work. Everyone goes home safe.” ~ Shannon Shivers, CCM Safety Manager for Aristeo Construction at Ford CAP.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project—your dedication and hard work made all the difference!
